  I don t know about anyone else but I do research on things I buy to make sure I know exactly what I m getting At 50in long and 15in wide it works great for my needs The top shelf holds my 40 Samsung HDTV and the bottom holds my center speaker It s very easy to put together takes maybe 15min with one person There are 4 pieces in all and some screws

  Where is this thing 38 inches It is not I notice now in the specs that it says it is 54 inches but I didn t notice that before So why do they say it is 38 inches in its title Omnimount Echo50LE 2 Shelf Video Table 38 Inch Wide Black Lacquer Also it says it has the cable management channel but it does not Another model of this table advertised as 50 inches shows the channels thanks to a customer photo This one does not have that it has clips I can attach to the table not a neatly tucked channel Super confused even now and while I don t get any of this I am keeping the table I am using it without the legs so that while it is in front of my fireplace that we never use here in Houston the top of the tv still sits beneath the level of the mantle My tv is a 46 inch plasma and this simple shiny black table with its lower shelf now sitting on the floor is good for my space I was expecting a lot less width and smaller footprint but this looks good I would have given it 5 stars had the description had been accurate

  I needed something to hold my components that was relatively narrow but could still hold everything I had That would currently be an Xbox Xbox360 Wii Receiver and my Blu Ray player and this table holds them all easily The Wii Fit even fit s underneath the bottom shelf perfectly It s built sturdy and gives my media room a nice clean look The downside is there is no channel for cable management but it wasn t necessary in my case as the cables can mostly be routed out of sight and tucked underneath the bottom shelf fairly well The included adhesive cable clips are too bulky IMO It shipped via Fed Ex and arrived in perfect condition The instruction manual and sales brochure with more detailed pics and specs are available from OmniMount s site under downloads Pros Well built Sturdy Easy assembly Narrow width low profile Clean looking gloss black finish Perfect size for Audio components Video Game Consoles etc Cons That clean looking finish shows dust and fingerprints No cable management channel
