Description:The unit measures a big 175 X 55 X 5 Mouse in the House can be activated manually by pushing the red button by either a human or a cat or by setting the timer to activate toy at set intervals Upon activation the toy emits small animal sounds to signal the cat that the mouse is coming out The mouse makes two revolutions of the track and then announces he is done for now with a humorous cuckoo sound This sequence can be set to occur at intervals from one minute to several hours The mouse operates on a hidden belt with a clutch so if the cat attempts to hold the mouse it will not hurt the mechanism in fact the clutch will continue to provide resistance further enhancing the reality of the toy until the cat lets it go on its way to end the sequence Should the cat hold the mouse for too long the mechanism will turn itself off The mouse cannot be removed from the toy by the cat although replacement mice are available and easily installed Don t Leave your cat alone leave a Mouse in the House

very loud motor

I bought this toy earlier in the month for my indoor only cat My cat loved playing with it the first week although she never went crazy with it like other cats did as seen on the web videos Two weeks later the motor got extremely loud and high pitched whenever the mouse would make its run on the track I checked the mouse and the track and found nothing abnormal or broken The motor noise has gotten so bad now my cat refuses to go near the toy when it is onUnless your cat is immune to loud noises I cannot really recommend this toy to fellow cat lovers unless the company comes out with a better less noisy and more durable motor especially at this purchase price

This is actually my second Mouse in the House The cats wore out the first one and I just recently found the remains of the first mouse I would recommend buying a pack of two extra mice They haven t torn this one upat least not yet When the cats are interested in this entertainment is is quite funny to watch them try their best to get that mouse We came home from work and found the thing darn near upside down I recommend it for all spoiled cats smile

Great Concept BUT total Lack of Quality

I have two 5 month old kittens who absolutely love this little gadget however after only two short days the mouse would no longer stay on the track There s a door you can open in the back to re attach the mouse however having to do this 4x a day isn t convenient The motor is loud the electronics get messed up and you have to switch the unit off and on to get it to work Needs improvement and price is too high Customer Service is excellent and very helpful
